It has come to our attention that many of our underaged members have been at a disadvantage for quite some time. They were unable to hatch eggs, participate in credit events or even have a chance at a Jumboyo Pet. We apologize for this.

Please take note that underaged accounts will have the post requirement automatically filled regarding Jumboyo Adopt.

Also, there is a new feature, only for underaged Accounts at this time, called the Hatchery; read the FAQ: HERE

You will be able to access your hatchipals in preferences, look for this new icon:

Silly Charitee has been having a blast all day long. Have you been remembering to check in on this crazy Gurahdi gal as she finds a way to pass time? She's been talking a bit about how a pomme a day will keep the doctor away... I wonder if she's worried about the flu?

Keep your eye out, that Delight Pixie sure has her hands full, those treasure chests weren't the only booty that Capt'n Skillow left behind. She's on the prowl with some Pandoria Boxes that he left with strict instructions!

  Hmm, sturdy Pirate indeed!

And last but not least, Charitee has felt sad since her event
has ended, she seems to be missing the visitors who

Just a few added notes,
The Treasure Chest from the now closed RE is
stocking in the credit shop for 10 credits each.
This may help those of you working on your
collections and finding those items within hard
to get your hands on.

Also,
If you still have reward points left over from the
Imp/Sprite Plot, you may want to decide on those
final purchases. The Reward Shop will be closing
before too long.
As well, the Plot Thread will soon fade away ......

 

It seems Cap' Jack Skillow has disappeared as fast as he appeared!

With him, taking the map with the directions to Skillow Isle! It seems he isn't all that bad as he has returned the 75 treasures he stole from Misticans!

It seems before he left he gave more inventory to Makoto!

We have just received word from Makoto that Captain Jack Skillow has given him some new inventory of pirate gear for his shop!

Sails appeared with the sunrise, skimming Mistica’s horizon as they soared ever closer…growing larger as they billowed out, taut and full with the wind…

The ship is easily recognizable - it’s Cap’n Jack Skillow! He’s back from his year long adventure of pillaging, plundering and general naughtiness - but what’s this? The ship isn’t landing where it usually does…

Hide all your shiny things, Mistica, because Cap’n Jack seems to be acting quite suspiciously! Who knows what tricks this clever haruba has for us?

Rather than stopping in to check on the clever feline he left his goods with last year, Cap’n Jack was followed to a small, remote island. It seems he’s keen to hide the treasure he worked so hard to steal this year, as he’s been burying it in the island’s sands…

Want to try your hand at being a pirate? Sneak on over to Skillow Isle and see if you can dig up some treasure! Champions can dig every 30 minutes, and normal users every hour.

Also, it seems that Cap’n Jack is getting a little clumsy in his Mistican wanderings; treasure chests seem to be popping up everywhere! Will you be lucky enough to find one and discover the marvels that surely lie within?

And it looks like Cap’n Jack wasn’t satisfied returning just to bury his treasure; he’s been messing around our forums too! Most of you have probably noticed that the pirate talk has returned!

There’s more treasure to be had as well! Everyone who digs during this weekend will be automatically entered into a drawing with the prize being a shiny 100mp! Good luck to everyone!

After many requests and a whole amount of time the Blocked List part of your Preferences is finally working!

Thats right; you are now able to "block" other members, but with filtering. Meaning you may block a member from sending you mail, or leaving you a comment but you still want to be able to see their forums posts.

You will also be very pleased to know that all beanbags are now stocking at the Beanbag Bazaar shop!

To help you get along further with your new beanbag collections you will find the Junebug Beanbag and the Ostara Egg Beanbag in the Creditshop for a limited time only.

Also; the list of pet traits available for your pet has received an update and 70+ new traits are now available. Head on over to Mistic Chat to pass on your suggestions for more pet traits.

You can now create pets with names to include up to 18 characters (or change them via PNT).
Also, the Account Search function has been more defined to exact include location.
Finally, you can now search items by description via the Help site.

Unexpected downtime!
Sorry about that folks! Not sure what the story is yet, but the server was down and the company had a notice up almost right away. They got us back up and running, seems like some sort of hardware fault. It wasn't anything we did though, so don't worry!

 

 

A few more options have been added for your User Profile Customisations. These are as follows:

• You are now able to align the text on your User Info Module, your options are Left, Center or Right.


• You are able to change the colour of your Online/Offline Status.


• You are able to hide your main username which is displayed near the Mistic Pets logo.


• You are able to hide your username displayed in the User Info Module.


• You are able to hide your Total Avatars displayed in the User Info Module.

Elsewhere onsite...

Some of you may of already noticed the bottom of every page these new fancy buttons. The Facebook and Twitter buttons will allow you to show your support for Mistic Pets off-site. The button of the end is used to "Report" pages you feel are unsuitable.

Please take note the following rule clarification. The user info modules were the only unremovable option, but there has been a trend developing that must be addressed.

User Profile Customisation
User profiles must, at all times show the User Information content. You may however customize it to work with your profile design. This means, use of text color, outline framing, etc may be altered, but not to the point of hiding, or making the content "invisible". Text also needs to be kept at an easily readable size. (size 7 minimum). This module is movable and may be and may be placed anywhere within the profile so that it is visible.
