SPOTLIGHT!
Tonight we'd like to take a chance to spotlight a very important group of members. They all started out as members, and took that extra step up to continuing growing this world and making it a fun site for everyone. I'm talking about our amazing and wonderful... STAFF!

There were many individual nominations for specific staff members, but we realized that all of them deserved recognition. Each and every day, they pull together to implement ideas and dreams for the site. To all of them, a great big thank you from ALL of us! And as a special treat for all of Mistica, the Staff Rocks! Jasper's Circus!

Yes, Lanturnacht has run it's course and the winter is settling in fast. This means the circus folk need a rest! They are packing up, and will be long gone by the first morning of December. Go get your last few gameplays in Mistica. Rumor has it though, that Jasper plans a few weekend performances throughout the year! So turn those frowns, upside down. He has a parting gift for you all! The season of joy and giving is almost upon us. We'd like to take this opportunity to introduce a very special credit shop item.

Coding Updates

Some notes from Paul regarding some changes recently:

- Swapped the opacity option in Collections. Items which are still needed to be collected will be shown 100%; items which have already been collected will shown with 20% opacity.
- Added Pet Profile option so members could "hide/display" the edit/delete tabs on their pets profiles.
-$15/150 MP purchase option now available. Remember, the fewer transactions, the less in Paypal fees we have to cover. :)

These are small, but bear mentioning. You'll see some improvements on Flower's Number Guess, Higher or Lower, Head or Tails, and The Slot Machine. The games will run faster, and have been 'spiffed' up a bit to be a little more attractive. :)

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Please take note that the ads have disappeared from the site. Zara has spent countless hours wrangling to try and keep the content clean and acceptable; but it's very hard when the advertisers engage is such deceptive practices. We hope this move will pay off with happier members, and perhaps an increase in support for things like Champion Accounts tso make up for the loss of Revenue.
Let's all do the happy dance.

Banking

Cassie has been secretly upgrading her banking system! This means you are now allowed multiple bank accounts. Each member is allowed up to a maxmimum of 3 accounts.

Each account is individual, meaning you can collect your interest, deposit, withdraw and send cheques from each account. You are able to move around your accounts using the drop down menu of account numbers. Please note the bank account changes without the page refreshing.

You are now able to "preview" your signature so you can get it just right before you decide to save it!

For those that may have missed it, you will be pleased to know that you are now able to change the color of your "links" on both your Member Profiles and your Pet Profiles. I hope you find this extra CSS option useful in your stylings!

Someone has been very busy in Mistica collecting up all those Hatchlings from Member Hatcheries and adding them to the Hatchery Center. This should prove very useful for Members who wish to help other Members with their hatchlings.

You think that would be it wouldn't you? Did you think your requests for more games would go unnoticed?

Thats right; Crunch the guard Lirionox is guarding some pretty big treasure, are you brave enough to try and poke him and make off with some MC?

You are able to play this game once every hour if you are a member. If you are a Champion Supporter you are able to play once every 30 minutes. Playing this game allows you to win between 25 and 2500 MC. You may think this is a little low, but you have the chance to win an extra 17,500 MC every week!

What? You think we would only give you one new game? I think Zulime is working some of her Voodoo magic on us!

If you dare to enter Zulimes Cave you are given the option to "Pop" one of the beloved Poppets!

If you play this game and you are a Member you are able to pop 3 poppets per day. If you play this game and you are a Champion Supporter you are able to pop 5 poppets a day. It costs 250 MC for each poppet you pop. 1 of the 15 poppets contains a high rarity item, the remaining poppets contain a random amount of MC between 250 MC and 1000 MC.

You will be very pleased to know that the hatchery is now open to everyone! Thats right, grab yourself one of the Mistical Nests from the Creditshop for only 50 MP. Each Nest allows you to enter 10 hatchlings into the hatchery. You are only allowed to enter one hatchling at a time. Once your hatchling is entered into the Hatchery you are able to help it grow by clicking on it. Champion Supporters are allowed to click once every 15 minutes. Members are allowed to click once every 30 minutes.

Thats not all; there is a new Hatchery Module available on User Profiles which will allow the Mistic Community to help you grow your Hatchling. Your friends can click once every day to help grow your hatchling, and you can click ONCE on all your friend's hatchlings EVERY day! :)

Elsewhere in the Mistica Game Garden; all of the Mistic Flash Games have been setup with Trophies!

That now means on the beginning of every month the Top 4 scores for each game are going to receive a trophy; Gold for 1st Place; Silver for 2nd Place; Bronze for 3rd Place and Wood and 4th Place!

November is going to a very fun month Mistica. We are gearing up for our THREE YEAR anniversary!

We are shifting gears this month, and behind the scenes is going to be a flurry of activity as we reorganize so we can better serve the community and the site.  We are going to get our feet up under us and hit the ground running! Our updates this month will be focused on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday release schedule,

In the meantime, we are turning our focus to YOU. The heart of our community is our members, and there is no way that Mistica would be what it is without each of you.

So we are proud to introduce our Member Spotlight!

We will be accepting Nominations from the entire community. We want to hear from YOU what makes a Heart of Gold Member and in our newsposts, we will highlight the member with words from the community and staff regarding them.

There will be prizes for both those who nominate and those are are selected winners and we cannot WAIT to hear what you guys have to say.
