“Having a wonderful day, Makoto?” Sunny calls out, strolling over to the feline.
“Why yes! So nice of you to ask!” Makoto grins, looking up at the Cheran over a cup of tea. “Would you like something to drink?”
Sunny pauses a moment, hesitant at Makoto’s unusual gesture. “One, no. You’d probably charge me for it. Two, why are you drinking hot tea in this boiling heat?!”
“It’s a silly family tradition, really,” Makoto replies, taking his last sip of the tea, then gently shaking the cup as if more would appear in it by doing so. “But who cares about that!” Makoto tosses the empty cup over his shoulder, where it lands in the sand. “Whatever are you doing out here? You must have a wonderful assistant, considering how often you can get away from your shop,” Makoto grins, “It must be nice, really.”
“What is with you today?” Sunny says, her voice raised. “Is this supposed to be some kind of trick? Don’t think for a second that I’ll--”
“How rude of you to insinuate such a thing!” Makoto cuts in. “Isn’t it rude enough that you came with the intent of mentioning the materials that all of you have swept away from me? That you’re gloating over having one of the latest shipments?” Makoto waves a paw at Sunny while talking. “And here I was going to put it behind me, wasn’t even going to bring it up with any of you!”
“But you did just bring--”
“Shame on you for coming here to cause trouble. I would think you’d know better, Sunny.”
“Well excuse me, your highness!” Sunny sarcastically snaps out. “That’s funny; hardly the kind of talk I’d expect from you! I though you learned something from getting a pink dye job, but apparently that wasn’t enough for you, huh.”
Silence falls between the two for a moment, as Makoto carefully chooses his words, trying to keep his aggravation from showing on his face (and not entirely succeeding at hiding it).
“Now, there was no need to point that out,” Makoto shifts uncomfortably. “Besides, what’s that saying…? All real men wear pink? Says nothing about them having to enjoy it, anyways. But since you seem to like the color, I thought your tastes seemed a bit… feminine, so perha--
“MAKOTO!” Sunny suddenly screams at the blush feline, “I KNEW IT! You’re the one who planted that gender bug in my shop!”
“Oh my, so angry, so sudden!” Makoto quips. “How very un-ladylike of you, Sunny.”
“WHY YOU LITTLE--!”
“Anyways!” Makoto cuts in yet again, jumping back from Sunny, “trivial things aside, I have some lovely disguise items to sell! They’ve been difficult for me to get my hands on, but properly combined, these could fool any enemy into letting you walk right into their fort! So I shall continue making profits, despite your shop keepers’ agreement with taking the building materials from me.”
Sunny, enraged at Makoto’s taunting, ignores the anya’s talking and lunges at him. Makoto dodges and runs off laughing, with Sunny following fast behind him. You sit up under your beach umbrella and wonder, how is anyone supposed to get a little rest and relaxation at the beach with all of the ruckus that comes from Makoto’s shop there?
However will you create disguises with the above items? Perhaps a silly ole bear could lend a hand?
See if you can get your hands on the new disguise items in Makoto’s shop! With luck, you’ll be able to get into your opponent’s fort to take their gold! Oh, but you have to find the fort first, don’t you? I’m sure they must have left a clue to its location somewhere…
