Random events are back and ready for some action! There is the return of a few favorites, and some not so favorites...(Darn sneaky imps!)

But you better keep your eyes peeled, seems your pets have a new way to interact with you. And they are going to be vocal about it!  Next time you choose to accept a Random Event, you just might find your pet asking you for a certain item.

It's your choice to grant their wish, but if you do your pets hunger or mood will increase to 100%  Could be a valuable boost! We hope you enjoy this entirely new quest system that is sure to add some great fun to your every day game play.

**- We are aware of the issue with images on the helpsite, and will be looking into the matter.  The daily cron has been run, so there should not be issues in your daily activities.

The plan is that the site will be going down tonight.  But fear not citizens of Mistica, we don't plan on being down long.  And when we are back up, we'll be on our new server and have plenty of room to grow. (and much more reliable customer service!)

Keep up to date, and follow us on Twitter and Facebook for updates. It's quick and easy to check in and see of any posts and where we are at in the process.   We plan to go down sometime after midnight to minimize member disruption.

Why do we need to go down?

Well, because our site is constantly updated, (your accounts, pets, items etc are constantly changing while you are online playing), we need to have a set point at which to transfer, or risk losing bits of your account information in the process.

So bear with us, we hope this will remove the uncertainty that has been plaguing us for the past few months as our server company declined noticeably.

There are some exciting developments in Mistica, all to do with our beloved BOOKS!

First off, have you ever wondered what tales lurk beneath the covers of your favorite Mistic books?  Well, you now have the opportunity to look beneath the artwork and discover a whole new side to Mistica.  Come visit the library now!

Once there, you can read any book that you've previously read to any of your current pets.  Currently, there are 18 published titles and more to be annonced as the team finishes them. (These will be noted in the news!) 

** First member to correctly tell me in the comments where the new Library is located in the explore map will win 15MP!

ALLIANCES
Before everyone goes book crazy, we'd like to introduce our most recent Alliance Contest!

A book drive!  Let's see which alliance can gather the most amount of books!  Up for grabs is a nifty trophy plaque for the alliance, Credit Rewards and some great item rewards! (Book-centric of course!)

Keep in mind your donations only count if you donate to your PRIMARY alliance.  Since you can join more than once, it's really important to declare which one you wish your contributions to count for.

To donate, simply choose donate on your Alliance page and any books you turn in will count for your teams total! (Providing it is your primary alliance)
Important Note:
Please know that Alliances will be undergoing some maintenence soon. This includes inactive Alliance owners, and a chance to move forward under new leadership if the memberbase wishes it. Expect contact soon!

Effective immediately, you are only able to disown 1 pet each day. Please take note and plan accordingly if you are making changes to your pets or adopting out to other members.

Community Advertising

Community Advertising now grants 5,000 page views for each rotation you purchase.  Advertise your comissions, your shops, Sales, birthdays, thank you and more!

Security

MisticPets works constantly to ensure that we are as secure as we can be, however,  if you use your MisticPets password on other sites, your account may not be as secure as we hope. Please maintain seperate passwords in the sites you visit and rotate often. 

Secure Passwords should contain upper and lowercase letters, numbers and even symbols to make it as difficult as possible for others to guess or access.

We want everyone to be safe and secure while browsing the vast World Wide Web. There is a lot of fun to be had, but security should always be foremost in your thoughts.
