…seems to have attracted some visitors!

The grassland, neighbor to Darkwood Hollow and the infamous Lighthouse, has sprung to life after laying empty for so long. Thousands of workers have gathered, from the powerful Mandorans, hauling carts of heavy stones, to deft-fingered Tarinookis, hopping around the inside of the enormous structure to add their own touch of color.

The castle is being repaired and it's very near completion. Turrets and towers rise high above the green earth and wrought iron gates have already been erected around the huge plot of land. Inside, curious passerby can see the groundwork being laid for a beautiful courtyard, with exotic trees and flowers in pots, waiting to be planted in their new home.

However, this castle is suspiciously devoid of a king or queen. Guards patrol the area, keeping keen eyes on the workers and moving anyone along who gets too close to the castle. They’re a tight-lipped group; no one seems willing to divulge any details, and no Mistican has been able to gather anything useful.

We’ll just have to watch and wait and see…

It is that time again Mistic, and accounts have been cleared that have not been active in 18 months or more. All banned accounts have been cleared as well.

Citizens all over Mistica are reporting that strange undercurrents are invading their unconcious thoughts; catching them unaware as they creep into their minds as they are distracted.

Innocent daydreams, and horrific nightmares they may be but they are manifesting in some new and strange ways. Can you catch these pals in the Mysterious Mistic events going around?*

Today we celebrate Independence Day for Mistica.  Today is a time to reflect on those that helped us advance to this point in time and for all the work that has gone into the site from many sources.

To staff, past and present, we give thanks for all that you have done, and continue to do to keep Mistica moving forward.

To our members, we never would have made it here without you and for your continuing support and faith in us, we give thanks.

There are myriad of ways to celebrate, and items to collect around the site, keep your eyes peeled for Random Events that will be giving out our Member Appreciation Bags!

You can gain quite a few goodies from it!

Makoto is getting into the swing of things with a new collection of seashells to gather up in his shop! These are a bit more colorful than his last offering!

We'd also like to welcome a couple new staff members!  HappyDemon is on board as our new coder, and he's hard at work familiarizing himself and getting up to speed to take over and progress some of the major projects that are on the table. 

And to the art team, we welcome TenaciousMug and darienchen! We are in the process of interviewing some more, and we hope to present them (and their work!) soon!  We will be focusing on our projects, as well as gaining a core of Pet artists to get out some more of our amazing themes for you all!
