Along the way to the Imp King, Tormic found a few new pals for you all. See if you can catch them!

Tormic continues his journey as he seeks an audience with the Imp King.

King Mephitic is not inclined to make this an easy journey. Tormic can hear the snickering whispers and more than once, he had fallen into some imp trap or another as he wandered the shadowy forest in search of his goal.

Caught offguard in a patch of sunlight, a dazzling daydream took him by surprise. Frolicsome fun in the shape of a daydream Vix came to ease his troubled mind.



But the nights he spent in the forest were another matter all together. Alone in the forest, surrounded by those that would wish him ill... he slept fitfully. Haunting his nightmares was a shadowy figure...



When would this journey end, when would the Imp King finally put this torment at an end? And when... oh when would Pandoria return?

Prince Arman waves his hands in front of Tormic as he stands in the middle of his shop daydreaming.

“Tormic? Hello? Are you in there?” Arman says as continues to wave his hands while his twin sister Princess Aislin plays with Tormic’s pals.

After a moment Tormic blinks a few times before he stares at the twins standing in the middle his store. A bit surprised that the royal twins were both in his shop he quickly backs up which only results in him tripping over the bags he was packing for his journey. With a quick shake he’s back on his feet staring between the two of them.

“Prince Arman, Princess Aislin! I’m so sorry about the mess. I wasn’t expecting you both so soon and with the packing I’m afraid my shop has seen better days. This journey does worry me though. All the creatures I have in the shop would be without care as a travel to the King. I must express I’m concerned about them since I have no idea how long I would be away.”

Tormic sighs heavily feeling like he had let the twins down. He might even have to refuse the quest Prince Arman had given him.

Prince Arman smiles gently and pats Tormic lightly on the shoulder, “No need for formalities today. My sister and I have come to offer some assistance in your quest. I did not mean to place so many burdens on you and I have come to make amends for my error. My sister Aislin and I would like to watch the shop while you journey.”

Tormic stares at them both with an increasing grin, “Really?!”

“Of course! They are all so cute and wonderful. We’ll do our best while you away so there’s no need to worry,” Aislin says as she continues to play with a Rori nearby.

“I guess I should hurry off. All the instructions are here in my shop, but I’m sure you both will be great at it,” Tormic quickly gathers his things to continue on his journey. Feeling quite confident the twins will do a good job.

The twins watch him head off on his journey while Prince Arman picks up the Rori his sister was holding, “I hope they don’t bite too much…will we get dirty?”

Princess Aislin grins slightly to her rather oblivious brother, “You’ll find out in about 5 seconds.”

I wonder what will befall Tormic in the forest as he searches out King Mephitic? The forest is certainly not all sunshines and rainbows anymore. The nightmares may have found their way home, but those imps are still pranking up a storm!!

Be on the lookout for Mysterious Mistic Events Mistica... there are two more treasures waiting for someone special to find them!

If you see that image at the top of your screen, you've been given a Mysterious Mistic Event!

But now you have a choice...Mysterious Mistic Events can give you items, MC, or even take them away. The choice is yours whether or not to CLICK on the Question Mark image to accept whatever fate has to offer you.

Safeguard your inventory, there have been reports of Imps stealing inventory items! But if you choose not to accept your events.. you may miss your chance for...

There was a slight error this morning, due to the server move and chrons, the Champion accounts were not deactivating as they were meant to.

In trying to fix the issue, there was an error that wiped all current Champions.

We do have logs, and will be able to compare purchase date, and we can also track when the items were sent to other accounts.

If you had a current Champion Account, that was NOT due to expire, please contact Zarabeythere here onsite.

Include:

Purchase date if remembered, or who sent the dust to you to activate.

If you remember the date activated, it will help speed up the process.

Please send through any information you have and it will be looked into with all the logs at our disposal. If you are caught trying to cheat the system, there will be consequences for your account, so please do not look at this as a 'free' champion account opportunity.

In Mistica.

The sun is shining and a gentle breeze blows about the land. A daydream Gourix and Nokwi dance in a clearing, their wings throwing rainbows about the glade.

The mood around the land is cautious. Pandoria seems to have relented, but her shop remains closed and no sign of the enigmatic guardian had been seen throughout the land. Tormic can be seen preparing for a journey, but he is working on keeping his shops (and profits!!) continuing while he leaves for his ordered trip.

As he sits in his shop, his mind wanders as he is struck by a fanciful daydream. The creature is so familiar, but butterfly wings and rainbows fill his vision as the mericai dances around him and he frolics in the warm sunshine.



He snaps himself awake and continues to make the arrangements for his journey, though his stomache is in knots, the rest has done him a lot of good the past few nights.

Elsewhere in the depths of the forest, many imps sprawl about in the shadows, thankfully oblivious to the sunshine and frivolity. Menacing grins, the impish equivalents to contented smiles graced their faces.

While they dreamed their nightmares and reveled in them... a mysterious creature came from the depths of the shadows. Seemingly forming from the gathered gloom. The nightmare Mericai had been born..

This is a repost, Paul is looking into the issue which resulted in the previous post being deleted. Sorry for the inconvenience!

For the first time in days, silence filled the air of Mistica.

No screams to shatter the stillness, even the wildlife seemed to be taking advantage of the quiet to sleep uninterrupted.

Had Pandoria relented? Were the minds of Mistica too tired and overwhelmed to process the daydreams and nightmares that had haunted so many?

A small sprite shifted in his peaceful sleep, a small smile upon his face.

He was dreaming of rainbows and roses. Light sparkled from every surface in his dreamstate, illuminating the world with a cascade of rainbows so lovely, he could cry from the beauty.



Across the clearing, hidden in the shadows an imp sleep peacefully for the first time since coming out to the world of Mistic 'proper'.

In the shadows of his dream, barely a hint of moonlight illuminated his path. As he crept along within this dreamscape, his maniacal laughter bubbled from within as he embraced the nightmare terrors that peered from the depths of the forest.




It seems that Pandoria has relented tonight...what will tomorrow bring? Tormic still has not sought out King Mephtic as directed by the sprite Prince and Princess... perhaps he will think straighter after getting some sleep this evening?

There have been a few mails to the admins regarding trading Pets for Pets.

There are those on both side of this issue, and we felt it would be most fair to put it in a poll to find out where the majority of Mistica lies regarding this.

Pets being traded for other pets can lead to complications. Do you think it devalues the pets, reducing them to a sort of site currency? Or do you think that pet trading should be left out of the prohibition of 'selling' pets and left up to the individuals?

Please weigh in, a board would probably help us understand both sides better and will reach more people than leaving long news comments regarding the issue.

Deep within the forest, a mischievious imp skirted the moonlit paths and kept to the shadows as he kept alert to any noise from the forest surrounding him. He paused as he saw a flitting shape take form ahead of him, caught in the bright moonlight that cast so many delicious shadows, but also cast this visage in such bright relief. His eyes glazed over as he was caught in a fanciful daydream...

There was a bow in his hair. A bright pink ribbony bow, in his HAIR. And he liked it. He skipped along a path, cringing inwardly at the appealing though of picking daisies came into his mind. He gathered a posey and spun about in the sunshine that felt so warm on his skin. He saw himself reaching the pomme tree, begging with laughter in his voice for a treat for the day. He salivated at the thought of gobbling the little pommerainian up at first glance, but found himself instead... playing with it! He ran through the fields, the flowers falling from his fingertips as he played with his... friend?

With a gasp he shook himself awake, relieved to still be in the shadows of the forest. Not a single bloom could be seen to mock him in his terror. He set off, the paint brush in his hand now had a purpose, he'd try to blot out the rainbow companion that had been with him in his dream, he'd never be able to forget that revolting rainbow visage.


Elsewhere in the forest, the moons of Mistica shone so brightly throughout the land, giving comfort to many. Although the brightness of their light seemed to deepen every shadow. The world was unearthly quiet this evening. All across the land, citzens were trying to hold on and not succumb to what should have been the sweet release of sleep.

Tinne, a normally cheerful sprite watched at the window to her dwelling. Her normally bright eyes and sparkling demeanor dimmed by the circumstances that lead to her frightful stare out into the darkness of the forest. As she watched the dancing shadows, she fell almost unaware into the dark expanse of her mind. Falling without knowing where she'd land, she felt herself flail about, willing her mind to keep the terror at bay, her body to still her pounding heart.

The shadows reached for her, clawing at her and threatening to tear her to bits as maniacal laughter filled her ears and she lost the will to do anything but scream her terror aloud. Giving voice to her fears only made the nightmare intensify as a million eyes stared her down and the laughter mocked her mercilessly.

She awoke covered in sweat, her eyes darting about the room. She rose to her feet to light ever lantern in the house so as to not leave a single shadow that could haunt her. She'd never forget the sight that featured so prominently in her nightmare...
