I would like to issue an apology to everyone. I had to go back to the Dr today, and it turns out in my fall yesterday, I did in fact receive a hairline fracture in my leg. I will be caught up and reply to Bugs/Help tomorrow morning and be back on track. Zenk0 is hard at work on Quests, and I am organizing things to get them back up and running soon after he is ready. :) Thank you for making yesterday a spectacular site birthday. It was great to see all the warm wishes and community spirit. I am so glad that everyone enjoyed their presents!

Hey guys! Been hard at work on a variety of things. The item hover gave us a few issues, but it will be global tomorrow. There are things that coming in line for the overall recode and we plan for quests within the next week!

Two new hatchipal friends for everyone to enjoy!



We still expect to have the item hover information updated sitewide today, there was a slight delay.

Enjoy these new eggs, the pretty Spectrum Egg can be found in the Credit Shop, and the Magma egg will be in there for a limited time, as well as stocking in Pandoria's Chambers.

Zenk0!

He's been hard at work, and we have a great outline for the next couple of months. This includes features, fixes and a complete rewrite to make sure things don't keep breaking down!


Zenk0, being the wonderful coder that he is, already started work! The news is now archived, so posts won't run together anymore from year to year.


Also, items around the site will now begin to have a very neat 'hover' feature that shows you the rarity and item description!





The items have started to get their update, and it will site wide tomorrow. So keep an eye out!

Keilley is now serving up single slices of everyone's favorite holiday pie and boy does it look delicious!


With most of the Halloween fevor dying down, she has stopped baking her fresh doughnuts every morning. I bet we can't wait for next year to sample those tasty treats again!

Well... we emerge to the light of day. Oh! It's night already!

So... what have we been up to? Slaving away in a deep dark dungeon? Good question! We were working on...

World domin-- *coughs* Carrots. We've been working on a new breed of Mistic Carrot. and they are quite tasty, and filling too! Slightly sweet, yet full of earthy flavor and nutrition. *grins* Not buying it? Okay... you guessed it, We have been working with Pandoria on some sepcial eggs. I believe you got a small sneak peak earlier. Are they hard boiled eggs, ruined by over boiling? Are they rejects from the staff easter egg hunt**, left to ripen in the hot sun since April? Nope,, they sure aren't.

What? You really want to know what they are?

Alright.... the eggs are a special new enchanted MisticPal from Pandoria herself! These special HatchiPals come in egg form.

What was that? Egg form? How in the world could we hatch them?

You attach them and they will evolve on your forum posts as you hang out and talk with your fellow Misticans!!


Now, there are some basic rules:

Posts in Off Topic will not count towards hatching, (since forum games occur her etc.)

IF you are caught spamming to up your post count and hatch your egg(s) you risk warnings and possibly a temporary ban.

Once a HatchiPal is attached, you cannot release it until is matured completely. The eggs, and the adult HatchiPals are full items. To be used, traded, sold, auctioned, gifted or what have you.

Only one HatchiPal will be able to be raised at any one point. They need lots of care and attention. *winks*

We all know that its that time of the year. Sniffles, sneezes and coughs can be heard all throughout the land. I'd be careful about what your pet eats though...





Poor Belli got into some items from the trash hole, and I have no idea which one could have made her sick!!


The following items were in my inventory, all from the trash hole. Any of them could be contaminated, so use EXTREME caution when feeding your pet until this can be contained.

So far, it appears that the Mericai, Tarinooki and the Cheran have all shown their susceptibility to the plague.



Again, any or all of the items may be affected until this plague is contained. Be careful Mistica!!

"If you choose to partake in an adoption, I want it to be known that staff will not intercede in any way, shape, or form regarding any number of things that could go 'wrong' in the adoption process.

When you choose to disown a pet, you acknowledge that it can go to absolutely anyone - even someone who might leave the site or have their account banned. We've made it clear in the pound and in the adoption board rules that we cannot get involved in these instances.

When it comes to banned accounts, we usually leave the account alone for 2 weeks so we can be sure we were correct in our bans and make sure we have time for a full investigation. This also allows the banned user to contact us in case they think we've made a mistake. Sometime after 2 weeks, the pets are deleted from the account so the names can be reused.

It is simply not feasible to check in with the pet's previous owners and give them the chance to readopt the pets or to offer compensation for users that willingly adopt out these pets that end up on banned accounts.

When choosing new homes for your hard earned boxed pets, (Or any pets for that matter) please keep in mind that once the pet leaves your account... you give up all claims to it for the future.

To look a lot like the fall season!

Take a trip around the shops of Mistica, the shopkeepers are pulling out some very high quality goods to give ample time to stock up before the Christmas season hits. Plushie Domain is now stocking a beautiful, rare plushie. One of the softest in all of Mistica I do believe!

Then if you go see Tara and her toys, you might be lucky enough to catch a hold of this elusive puppet!

And finally, Gordon is very proud of his newest culinary creation. This chocolate Turkey is sure to please even the snobbiest of chocolate connoisseur!
