Arachnophobia: A morbid and abnormal fear of spiders.

Arachnophobes throughout Mistica, be afraid no more! It's time to get over your fear of spiders and bite back! Don't let those eight-legged bugs get the better of you any longer!

Clayton, the owner of Spooky Creations, has just started a new twelve-step program to help Misticans get over their fear of spiders. Head on down to his shop to grab steps one through six.

Well, some of these sharp eagle eyes may have noticed that the Plot forum has been removed. It has been taken down until our first plot begins, so it will be back. Keep your eyes open!

We do however have a new forum that may be of some interest: The Societies Forum!** Feel free to advertise your society and bring in some new members and friends.

**Please take some time to read the Society FAQ sticky for some important information that may help with any questions you have.

We will also be working on replacing our Writers' Haven with a new forum section. It will be identical to the current one and all threads will be transferred over. The purpose is to be able to use our shiny new icon the lovely Sparkles has made for us.
If the icon replacement glitch won't leave, we'll just get around it.

Christmas in July... isn't it a lovely thought?

Well Painty Paws has decided to open up his hoard of goodies for the citizens of Mistica!

He's made a list...
He's checked it twice...
And you won't believe what he has in store!

The giveaways will be very limited in nature, no more than 15 mins long! But some of the goodies could include...

All manners of retired items will RANDOMLY be put up in the givewaway over the next two weeks. There are some guidelines to remember:

Happy Bastille Day, the Fête Nationale (or "National Celebration") of France! This day commemorates the storming of Bastille on the 14 July, 1789. The battle marked the uprising of the modern French nation as well as a strengthening of the French constitutional monarchy. Grab one of these French emblems to begin the celebration!



Rosebud has cooked up a HUGE cake at her Holiday Goodies store. It's much too big to stock continuously though, so she's sliced it up into hundreds of pieces. Be sure to stop by her shop to pick up some! There’s probably enough cake to last the whole month.

Zenk0 has been hard at work, it was the reason for the slight down time we experienced earlier. So no worries!! We are hoping that the layout prolems have been fixed, but he's still testing out some things. He's still hard at work, so don't be alarmed.

What we are doing is some much needed clean up.

Happy Canada Day! This holiday is often referred to as "Canada's Birthday" because it is the day in which Canada became a country in its own right, although it was still under the British Parliament. It may not be a clear-cut date for the country's independence (unlike Independence Day in the USA), but July 1st was the start of Canada's ascent to becoming a nation of its own.
