The Staff have decided that it'd be a good time to have a news post that includes some reminders and updates for everyone and the Scouts have come to help us!
On the subject of negativity: Misticpets has always been a site where staff works very close alongside its members. This has always allowed for a very open environment for discussing opinions and ideas. However, we feel the need to reiterate respect towards others (staff or member) is a must. The following excerpt is taken from the Profile Rules thread.
"Grievances with staff or other members should be carried out in a private manner... Posting ill feelings, accusations and attacks towards other members or staff on profiles, user statuses, or other public areas will not be allowed. This is not a constructive manner in which to create the atmosphere the site was created for."
In addition, posting links to other pet/sim sites, or posting your contact information on other such sites, is no longer allowed. You may share such information within Mistic Mail or through other private means, but when posted on profiles it has been discussed as being too close to advertising.

- Other-Site Art: As per the Terms & Conditions, we must ask all members to not post art owned by other Pet Sites within Misticpets, such as Pet Profiles, Forums, Signatures, and User Profiles. Yes, this includes those "Human Avatars" that are common on Pet Profiles!
- Community Help: threads posted in the Help forum are not for chatting on. Threads that have random comments only make it more difficult for us to weed through problems and help our fellow members. (Posting in the Help forum doesn't up your post count either!) We have an Item & Small Misc Issues thread where you can post typos or small problems you think need to be fixed, but please read the notes inside the thread.
- Support Tickets: in the footer of each page, you will see a link titled "Support." There, you can send in a support ticket asking for help. When should you use a Support Ticket, rather than posting in Community Help? If it is an issue related to your account alone, sending in a Support request is your best bet! When tickets are sent in, us Moderators and Admins get a red alert, and we see it a lot faster, and we can access your account information there as well. Exploitable bugs should also be posted in a Ticket.

- Official Hatchipal Chat: To chat with friends about site-related content while hatching your eggs. Posts must be relevant to Mistica-- discuss your hatchis, pet goals, site events, etc.!
- Official Offtopic Chat: A general thread for those who don't want to make a new thread for a specific topic, and just want to pop in and say hello to friends. It is also a great way to hatch your hatchlings. However, it is for nonsite-related discussion.
