Speaking of Darkwood Hollow, things seem to be buzzing, wonder what's up?

On each pet profile, there is now a Like Me button underneath their mood!

You can 'like' pets to show your appreciation for the theme, their profile, or character! Everyone will recieve an alert when their pets are liked, and you may turn off notifications in Preferences>Profile Setup>Pets

This is also where you can see a log of the pets you've liked. You can see their name, and species/color right there and a way to delete the pets if you see a need.

This came about because of a post in the Suggestions forum, so a big thank you to ClodiuthMax for the idea, and to the members who chimed in!

Writing, Conjuring, and Art entries are now open for VOTING! And that means, we have new contest themes for everyone!

This time around, they all center around a very popular theme:
SUPER HEROES!

We can't wait to see all your SUPER entries!

This Hero Rat is excited too, they are going to get started on their entry right away!

Due to this development, we are extending Contests until Wednesday, at which time they will change up to the new themes.

Writing only has 2 entries! This contests cannot continue without community support, and we may be looking at changes to the format and how it is run.

It has come to our attention that perhaps a refresher is needed in the site rules and guidelines. Currently, PG-13 is the site rating. Things of a sexual nature are not allowed on profiles, pet profiles, or public rp.

Deep within the forest lurks many hidden treasures and surprises.
So often, they are overlooked by larger creatures such as ourselves and our pets. However, our pals are quite intrepid and eager for adventure!


Click the acorn above to head to the forest to explore!
You may also access via your all pets page, by clicking on your pals!

You'll have to choose a pal to send, and you only get 10 explorations a day. (15 for our Champion Supporters!)
 

Once in the forest, you will have to catch fairies that randomly appear within the image. Best of luck and hang on to your items, even the most useless could come in handy soon.  
Your pal will find a wide array of items in the forest:



But more than items lurk in the depths and your pal can be distracted and return with nothing to show for their foraging!

Monthly high scores will be listed and trophies awarded at rollover along with our other games. High Scores will be listed by pal and in order of percentages of items found while exploring.  The champions did some great testing for us and provided fabulous feedback and we hope you enjoy this launch as much as we enjoyed bringing this feature to you!

Maury also has a surprise, a whole set of new icons for chat!

Pandoria passed her days in quiet contemplation. She saw her beautiful creation of Mistica up close as she roamed the planet and worked small magics to make the world a better and happier place.

One recent day, she came upon a distraught Nimbus Obsideon, upset that everyone assumed he was sad because of his boxed state. Everyone wanted to cheer him up, yet all he wanted was to be left alone! He was irate and ready to have people keep their distance. He appealed to Pandoria for help and smiling, she obliged.

She held out her hand, and strange magic swirled around the Nimbus Obsideon, and when the hazy aura had vanished, he had been granted his wish. A way to discourage others from bothering him on his cloud - he had lightning!


Introducing Blessed Pets. These special and unprecedented pets in Mistica will be introduced each month. You may see combinations of boxes,  uncommon colors, or unique artistry.

How will I get my hands on these?

#1- Enter the Weekly Raffle!
One pet will be given out each Sunday with the weekly raffle!
#2- Legacy Token!
Hold on to your legacy token, for your chance for a Blessed Pet at the end of the month!
#3- Gift with purchase.
Purchase $50+ in one transaction during the month and receive a Blessed Pet!

How will I receive my Blessed Pet?
Once you have won or received it as a bonus, you can mail Pandoria on site, and she will see -to it as quick as she is able! She will need to know which pet you'd like transformed. It can be an older pet, a brand new pet, she just needs the name to bless your pet and enact the change! 

How many of these pets will there be?
This is a new feature, and we do anticipate to limit these pets to keep their exceptional quality. The anticipation will be to keep them below 50 per design. This includes staff, members, gifts with purchase, and free options. However, once we set a limit, it will be strictly adhered to in full transparency with the members. 

 If I have a Blessed Pet, am I stuck forever?
No! These pets are not account bound and may be adopted or traded out. 

If eligible, may I choose someone else's pet to bless?
This one gets a little trickier. Before the blessing can take place, we would need a mail confirming permission.  You may mail the member yourself stating your intention and they may mail the Pandoria account after your send in your request. Please keep in mind that these do not have monetary value and you may not 'sell' your blessings.

Can I request a custom Blessing?
No, we will not be taking custom requests for these Blessed pets. As they are for the entire community, each on will be revealed and clear ways of attaining one will be included each time.

Writing and Art, you are familiar with, but instead of Poetry, we have Conjuring!

What is Conjuring?
It can be ANYTHING! 

This month, we are challenging Mistica to create and show off your own Rocky pal, in real life! Create it out of whatever is handy, we can't wait to see!

All Prizes are uniform across the board:
100mp - 1st Place
500k- 2nd Place
250k- 3rd Place

And both Writing and Conjuring have new editors that will allow you more creativity and editing capabilities for your entries!

And we have some updated trophies for everyone!

This new contest will also include a small change to the long-standing tradition that staff are excluded from contests.

Conjuring is open to ALL in the community. Votes will be blindly done by everyone, and we want everyone to enjoy the fun of creating and sharing the joy that conjuring will bring. So many of our staff are long standing members, it only seems fair to include them in this new adventure!
