Personality: Asterkite is Asterelle's twin, and therefore represents life. His name is more difficult to translate than his siblings. 'Kite' can be translated as both beginning and end, much like twilight can be both dusk and dawn. Therefore, Asterkite is generally referred to as the Beginning and End of the Twilight. Asterkite is much more personable than his twin sister; he tends to get alone with everyone. Asterkite is quite charismatic. When is is not in his true form his voice is very hoarse from an injury from a person controlled by Morganna. He was unsealed at the same time and place as his other sister, Asteraura. They were unsealed during the second Network Crisis of Epitaph Earth.
Asterkite's other half is Gidek na Cubia (The Fang of Life). Unlike Asterelle's other half Skuli na Shia who is completely without emotion, Cubia is highly malevolent. As Cubia represents the difficult/sad/pointless hardship of life, he has no mercy for anyone or anything. Cubia has eight Raised Gomoras. They have individual names; Skeith (The Terror of Death), Innis (The Mirage of Deceit), Magus (The Propagation), Fidchell (The Prophet), Gorre (The Machinator), Macha (The Temptress), Tarvos (The Avenger), Corbenik (The Rebirth).
