Added By: LazyKat I hope no one minds me reposting this, I typed it up in a discussion on another forum, and I believe it applies here as well :) huggles users... even the naughty ones XD I'm sorry your experience with the site has been so negative, I assure you our people are doing their best to make the site an enjoyable and worthwhile past-time for everyone. The recent events have been very unfortunate for the site, especially in their timing. We have so much that we want to implement for our users, but our coders are tied up fixing the mess that a few irresponsible individuals have actuated. I can assure you that none of our staff, coders, artists, writers, mods, none of them want to seem rude or condescending, please remember that this is a staff of volunteers giving their free time (and any other time they can muster) to patrol and produce a site good enough for our userbase. Sometimes, as people, they become frazzled; it's been a very difficult time. The Mistic staff as a whole has always striven to maintain a high standard of professionalism and yet still be on the same level with our users. In times of stress, it is often difficult to remember ones position and the necessity of bearing the weight of complaints without a shuffle of feet or small groan every now and then. And, also, as volunteers, this may be the first time that many of our staff have come up against such problems as there have been of late. This is a learning experience for many, and a lesson that we do not want to learn over again! Please bear with us as we struggle through a rigorous 'semester', as it were. I hope that, if there are those of you who decide for the time being to take a break, that you will not seen MisticPets in a negative light for these unfortunate events, and that you will come back to it refreshed, and ready for the new adventures we have in store :)

Added By: Thanatoast Oh good. Well, at least there's that. XD haha . I shuld know better by now than to try and get really involved in a petsite before it's really off the ground. It is kind of getting ridiculous, but at least I am not spending so much time here and I am actually, you know.. doing my work. Haha. But the staff here is very patient. I don't think I could even attempt that sort of patience.
Added By: Rainbow Oh sigh. This is kind of depressing. I lost almost 50k MC, most of my plushies, some misticpals, and a few art/graphic things I've gotten from people. But really? It can all hopefully be earned back. Things like this or worse have happened to everyone on Mistic. I think the best course of action is just to take a deep breath, and work through the issues. Yes, it's terrible that it happened, and the people responsible should be penalized, but things could be worse, and we can work our way back up with time.
