Bryssia says (This is responding to both posts) Her ears flicked toward Anne, listening to what the cow was saying and nodding her head in agreement. "Thank you Anne." She replied softly as she turned her ears toward Mid, homing in on where he was. "I guess we will be going now. It was nice to meet you three." She paused for a moment and glomped her way over to the baby. After giving him a hug she whispered in his ear. "Don't let them tell you that a cow can't be your friend." She turned quickly to follow after Mid. She did not notice that she had passed Mid up, he seemed to be somewhere else other then where she thought. Pausing Bryssia, flicked her ears about trying to find him...just as he passed her. "Oh excuse me." She said to him, lifting a flipper out of his way. Her head tilted at his comment about her eyes and nodes, then her cheeks warmed. "That's very sweet of you, Middy." She started after him once more. At the edge of the pool she lowered her nose down, sniffed around before she dove into the water. The ice cold water felt great on her pelt. The water was more home to her then dry land. She swam around in circles for a few minutes before she came up along side Mid. She brushed against him, then dove deeper in search of food. |
Bryssia says Bryssia yawned and stretched. "Morning already?" She asked, shaking her head to clear the fog away from her mind. Mate? She turned her head toward the voices, listening with a bit more interest this time. Does he think that Mid and I are mates? Maybes I should set him straight. She turned herself around just as they started laughing. "Excuse me, Kind Sir, but Mid and I are just friends." She shook her head. "Besides I don't really think the treasure chest would be full of food anyway. It would rot...I am sure it's full of shiny magic gems that help those .....misfortune..." Bryssia looked away from them, to hide the embarrassment on her face. "Let's go, Mid..I'm hungry." |
Bryssia says "What love bug? What are you talking about?" She looked at Midshipmen confused. Her ears turning back and forth to the sounds in the small cavern. Bryssia looked about with her blind eyes, trying to remember everything that was going on and what had happened. "Umm candy...sure...where did you get it?" She asked softly. Suddenly she yawned. "Yes sleep would be good and your my best friend, Middy, Let's rest." |
Nym says "Oops, my land legs must have messed up my nautical direction," Nym chuckled. Inwardly, though, he was a bit worried. Did I really stay away that long? He brushed off the thought. He wouldn't let himself get distracted, he was too excited for Revelry to let it get in the way. He about-faced and swam next to his friend, deciding to let Midshipman lead instead. "Have you ever been to Revelry before?" he asked. Maybe he could get a better idea of what to expect. |
Bryssia says Bryssia was going to comment that she wasn't sick and didn't need any meds. However Mid was quick and she thought he was kissing her. So she didn't bother to fight and started kissing him back. Her mind was reeling so much that he was kissing her that she didn't notice the sweets in her mouth. She blushed at the voices and quickly pulled away from him, swallowing the candy as she did. "Mid..." She said suddenly feeling shy. "What are you doing?" |
Nym says Nym scoffed. "As if I could forget. Risylki, first and foremost," he announced. But he still grinned with anticipation. He was eager to hit the waters again. He wiggled, unable to contain himself. He had never actually attended a Revelry celebration before, despite hearing stories his whole life. He was always told he was too young. But he'd been on his own for a while now, and he could take care of himself. "I'd like to get my flippers on some Revelry beads, and maybe a crown! What are we waiting for?" he rambled. Then he was off, swimming with celebrations in mind. In the opposite direction of Banshee Swamp, unfortunately. |
Bryssia says Fasha fluttered down from the cave ceiling. The noir Frodrinn landed by Midshipmen and handed him a bag of candy. Then then quickly fluttered back into the darkness. "That should help you some. Of course I think she will still love you...Middy." He said with a soft laugh. Bryssia moved slightly out of the way as the bat like creature came down. She tilted her head a bit, listening to every sound it made. But before she could echo on it, it was back up into the darkness. She sniffed smelling the sweets. "What is that he gave you?" She asked Mid. "It smell yummy." |
Bryssia says No longer able to sniff out any blood, Bryssia moved away slightly. "Are you alright, Middy?" She asked with some concern still in her voice. She ignored the others in the cave, completely and totally focused on Midshipmen. She fretted over him like a mother with her first baby. "Did I hurt you?" She asked in a whisper. "You folks, look like you could use some candy." A raspy voice came from the ceiling of the cave. "Your pardon, but it was funny to watch everything unfold. I couldn't help but see what would happen." |
Nym says Nym nodded. "I did, she tends to like to wander off. She's just so small and quiet it makes me worry sometimes. But I think she can fend for herself." He grinned. "Good to see you've been keeping safe this infestation. Staying indoors with my silly human was enough to keep girls away for me." He'd almost completely forgotten about his nasty genderbug incident, which, combined with the fact that his coat seemed to change color after he spent long lengths of time out of water, might add up to being very confusing for his mate. |
Nym says Nym swam over to Midshipman's area of the river. He'd been sort of a shut-in recently, what with his human's strange tinkering and experimenting. He'd been helping, and she was close to done with a curious invention, but Nym missed exploring the riverbanks and seas. New creatures popped up so often, he wanted to see them all. He swam up to his Risylki comrade and asked nosily, "What are you doing?" He really needed to learn to keep his nose out of other people's business. |
