Kalista was a normal teenage haruba at one stage of her life. She had many friends and she had fell in love, with the wrong boy, at the wrong time. It was a normal day as any, as Kalista had said goodbye to her parents and gave them a quick kiss on the cheek before vanishing through the door. There had been rumors that John was going to ask her out today! She had been swooning over him since she has a young kit in her younger grades. She found herself prancing along as she entered the school ground, her purple locks, much like every other harubas, was sitting nearly perfect today in accordance with s small smile on her lips and her baby blue eyes shining bright like the morning sun. That was the difference between Kalista and most of the other Haruba, she had always had baby blue eyes, or sometimes, depending on the time of day, and the mood she found herself in, they were a vibrant purple. Most of her friends called her baby face because she had a childish face, she had not yet grown into her face as most harubas had. As John walked up to her and casually asked her to winter formal she let out a small swueel after accepting and heading to class. As the day droned on, she felt a strange aura from all the other students around her. They stared and mumbled words such as 'freak' or 'loser' she had been used to the stairs but now the murmers too? She shook it off, claiming it was jealousy that John had asked her to winter formal instead of them. As she was leaving, one of the other students grabbed her and pulled her to the side behind the school and knocked her out. A few hours later, she found herself in a strange cabin, where it was said that the which had lived. Kalista, being a curious young one, looked around quietly hoping no one was there. As the sun went down, she realized that this was when most of the stories took place and that she needed to find an exit and fast. Before long, she heard the door shut and knew she was doomed. She hid under the table in a hurry and placed her tail over her face and slowed her breathing and her slowed the thudding of the heart that was in her stomach. She noticed that they were Johns paws and she jumped out hoping he would be alarmed and worried for her safety and take her home, where she would tell him her story and he would make them all pay for what they had done to her by bringing her out here. To her dismay, he grinned and wrapped his claws around left back leg and began to drag her into another room that had been locked "Look at this baby face? Do you really think that I would ask you to winter formal? Lets be honest, all you are is a baby face" He cackled and turned to reach for what looked like a regular box and threw it at her, trapping her inside it. A few years later, she realized that there was a new sound outside the box, and a few low mail voices as the box opened and she stepped out. She mew'd before closing her mouth and bit back another mew as she looked up at the Storm and Phantom Haruba that had stationed themselves around her. They went through introductions, and brought her to their house. They called themselves the fathers and began introductions to a strange looking creature they called Claws. The strange creature claimed to want to help her and even gave her a little fairy friend to help her transition into living with them. As time went on, she grew fond of everyone that she lived with and she loved them all with all her heart.
