I had an old tree and it wasn't doing so well so I split in in half and put another tree in the middle and before I knew it. both trees were growing as one. Trees to me symbolize Life they also can do the imposable by growing both up and down.
Now you can say what you will about me a Tree hugger or crazy tree lady I'm fine with it XD. but you won't be laughing once you here the most amazing facts that I have learned over the years about trees.
Now Did you know!?! That Trees receive an estimated 90% of their nutrition from the atmosphere and only 10% from the soil?
what's that? Not good enough? lol well, did you know that trees Grow from the top, not from the bottom as is commonly believed. A branch on a tree will ONLY move up the trunk a few inches in 1000 years.

NO Tree Dies OF Old Age. They are generally killed my insects, Disease or by people.
Some trees can "Talk" to each other. when the willows are attacked by webworms and caterpillars, they emit a chemical that alerts nearby willow of the danger. the neighboring trees then respond by pumping more tannin into their leaves making it difficult for the insects to digest the leaves.
