About Me!

My name is Thunderwing, though people tend to call me Thunder or TW. I'm in my early 30's, give or take a couple of years. :)

I work full time in a greehouse as a grower, producing potted plants. If you are in North America and have purchased a potted plant recently, there is a good chance it was raised by me. I grow Kalanchoe, Persian Violets, Gloxinia, Impatian hanging baskets, and Poinsettias. 14,000 poinsettias went through my hands from tiny cuttings to sale this year. If you enjoyed a poinsettia this year... you're welcome!

I also own and manage a small hamstery/rodentry, raising small animals for the local pet stores. Dwarf Hamsters, Panda and Black Bear Hamsters. I am the creator of the new "Dalmatian" breed of hamsters, and am working on another breed not yet named. Black with tiny white spots. I also breed guinea pigs, dwarf rabbits, gerbils, rats. I own several snakes, a brazilian possum, and a thriving colony of Steppe Lemmings. My dream is to own a pair of asian river otters.
