Added By: Garet I worked hard and spent time on this site to get what I wanted and to get the pets I had. Unless they can somehow refund a hell of a lot of hours of my life, I doubt I will honestly be playing long. Unless they seriously do SOMETHING to stop this from happening again, I can see the site going down the tubes. They should have learned from the first twenty times this happened and FOUND A BETTER WAY by now. -- Heck, most staff on other sites catch on after the first time and make the site more secure for their users, but they seem to resort to the same methods time and time again. True, I have more MP than I did before they did this, but I lost everything else. Two pets, my friends lost pets, my friends lost ACCOUNTS. I think a lot of people put too much praise on the coders and staff. This should have been handled better and it's just going in a never-ending vicious cycle without end, and it's no longer fun and cool as it had been. But they are your opinions and you are entitlted to them. Do you see them complaining and blaming people for their losses? Stop being so selfish and just be happy the whole site wasn't deleted. Also, don't you dare compare the Mistic staff to other petsite staff teams... these are the most hard working, devoted people I've ever worked with, and I find it extremely insulting that you would even think of saying something like that after all they've done to try and make YOU, the user, happy. I can't go outside, I can't do much but housework and I come here to relax and everything is just going..... bad, to say the least. And still, people should learn from their mistakes, things should have been more secure than the last. Another site I am on suffered a rollback, too, but they made sure that no accounts or pets were lost. And it was the first rollback there for months, and this was... I'm not even going to bother to count. I'm disappointed because I really do love the art on the site and the fact that the manager here isn't as stuck up as other petsite owners, but this is getting a bit out of hand. If I knew anything about coding, I'd offer my help because I like the site that much, but all I can do is sit back and wait on other people to do something to stpo people from ruining the site like they are. Do not go bashing the staff for something that was a bit difficult to predict. As Bizcuit said, yes, you lost hours of your life you'll never get back. SO DID THE REST OF US! But here's a thought, so did the staff! They lost stuff too! How about a bit of compassion and understanding, please? If you can't appreciate what they're doing right now, then I'm sorry. There are safeguards in place, it was our mistake for not going back further. This site has endured a lot. The coding has been a mess ince Impulse took control and the coders have worked very hard on updating and fixing things. We have been open a few days over 2 months. 2 moths is not a long time... and we have worked wonders. ALL of us, together, as a community. One week lost is much better than losing all we've gained in the last two months. ~Zara
