To tell you honestly, and I am going to be very blunt with this, I hate the Mericai revamp.
I loved how beautiful they looked before, almost elegant.. but now they are goofy, and ill-proportioned. The head is way too big, and it looks starved.
I am regretting creating Sophi as a Mericai. Now I have to think of a different pet that might fit her.
On a lighter note, I kind of like the re-vamp on the Quari. It looks better structured. The only thing that bugs me about it is the fact that it looks so much like a baby (large head again, maybe?).
I have to say, overall, I am not happy with the change.

I will spend much less time on this site simply because of this. Ginseng was my favorite pet and now he is completely ruined. I can’t see why Misticpets would do this. I am very very upset. |

I think the Quari looks a lot better, but I prefer the old Mericai. I don't really think it needed an update, personally. I also think, as others have stated, that the new Mericai's head is a bit too large compared to its body. |

Nestly: I'm wondering why Misticpets is already doing pet revamps. These two pets, in both appeal and art quality were not bad before. Not any worse off then most of the new stuff coming out even. And drat, the Mericai was my favorite too. Something about the lips on this Mercai bothers me. Although I LOVE how the ears were drawn. Very elfish.
Still, I preferred the dull colors and wise pose.
