I really don't see how linking to another site is so much more horrible than mentioning it... it's not like if someone's curious about another site they aren't capable of googling it. I've never actually had the cause or desire to link to another site here, but I have never really understood why people get SO excited about it... if people want to find that site they will find it, to be honest, getting upset about links makes a site look insecure in my eyes... if a site is great it will attract players, if it's not the players will go elsewhere, and all the links in the world, or lack of them, won't change that.
But that's just my opinion. Meh, it's your site, so you can choose to do what you want, of course. I haven't actually seen anyone calling you evil or horrible, I guess I somehow keep missing that XP
