It's still subpar. The head looks squished, the eye looks like it's about to come out, the hind legs just look wrong. It's not up to the usual standards of misticpets, imo. If the anatomy issues were straightened out and the image quality was better, it'd be great. |

Well, if it was to be redone, it'll have to be by one of the other artists (and I wouldn't mind it to be redone, tbh). |

Even if it's not the best quality, it still has a cool pose. I love the fact that it's winking for some reason. XD |

i think it may look unusual because it doesnt seem so "quadruped" but the enya has always been a more upright standing pet, to me when i look at it from that perspective it seems perfectly fine. now back to my original comment, i wonder if the spring showers may affect this pets storm quality's xD |

You're correct Vampiress, The anya is not quadruped, it is a biped species, which is why it may look awkward. I believe the texture of the image (mainly the pet's fur itself) which appears pixelated was just one of Charlie's newer methods of drawing, much like how the Inferno fire of recent pets looks nothing like the fire of older pets. He was testing new styles. |

Is there a reason its head looks squished and its eye is popping out? |

I suppose now it's a matter of opinion? I don't see where it's head looks squished, and the eye is glowing so I guess it would appear to be popping out when it isn't. |

It's a matter of anatomy. It looks like the back of the anya's head is flat. No animal has a head that flat. There wouldn't be enough room for brains. The forehead is also rather big and I believe the ears might have been put on in the wrong place. My opinion is that this art is subpar. Maybe Charlie was slacking off towards the end of his stint here. |

To me the head doesn't look flat, it appears to be blown around by perhaps the wind in the storm....that is my take on the new anya...I love it. |
