A grassroots movement such as this CAN make a difference.Cutting sppecial programs or charging to take them is one thing, but losing teachers and closing schools is not acceptable.School children donating their pennies, business in the community donating, people volunteering and giving what they can, bake sales rummage sales, it all adds up. Bringing a community together for our children ..there is no greater goal!I applaud your selflessness in this Zara, Thank you for setting the a good example. |

Oh, we have a terrible problem with the school district here in Vegas... They took out $2bil over the summer, $100mil between now and next year, and $25mil immediantly. Well, those are most recent, but there are MANY more. It makes me glad to know that people care about the schools enough to donate some of the site's profits to boost the funding in the schools. I shall be sending out my money this month! =) |
