[Habitat] Favouring high lonely places only when he is of a mood to be in his own company, Zalor prefers to rest and relax on ground level, or amongst tree branches. He was raised in a wooded area, and so his flight and skill at flying amongst trees grew. On exceptionally sunny days he favours the shade cast by leafy trees and is found sheltering in the cool they provide. Rarely does he stay in the same area, but prefers to frequent a handful of territories that he is familiar with, moving from one to the other seemingly at whim.
[Appearance] In appearance he is strictly gryphon-like. Lor moves on all four feet when walking, and obviously by wing when in the air. Average in size amongst his kind, his build resembles that of one of the more powerfully built felines, and he is muscled in a way similar to perhaps a leopard. The inky black plummage contrasts quite spectacularly with the white, and he spends time each and every day preening his feathers to keep them looking their best. A pair of rather fierce amber eyes stand out clearing on his face, offset against the dark feathering.

[Characteristics] Lor was certainly meant to be well-natured. Events during his early childhood warped this slightly, and his sense of humour darkened and twisted a little. He has a loyal streak which remained unaltered, and only strengthened as he aged. Prone to times when he sinks into a low mood, a dark mood, he is considerate in that he takes himself off and away from others until it lifts. He has ambition, and is often eager to converse and test himself against others of his kind, and though slightly aloof, he dislikes being predominantly by himself always.
