Born a Nightmare Cheran and then casted out from his litter, Xael often hid in the shadows, afraid to show his face lest those who despise his kind would taunt him or run him out of the forest. None of the creatures who inhabited the forest of his birth wanted anything to do with a 'Cursed' one, so he was forced to wander his birthplace in the nighttime, longing to see the brilliant sun and feel its warmth. For a year the poor cheran had suffered alone, until the day that he stepped into the sun's path for the first time.
