Overall, Vida is an upbeat girl. She tends to smile and be on the brighter side of life. She’s a deep thinker, always considering and writing things down. She questions everything around her, eager to learn. She’s deeply ignorant however, under her shroud of contentment; she forgets that not everything ends with a happy ending.
Appearance:
She’s a slender girl with reddish brown hair and simmering coal black eyes. They however sparkle with life, wide to the world. She has tiny hands and feet, but they pack a punch. Being on fifteen, she’s only 5’6 and weighs roughly 105 pounds.
Clothing:
She wears a bright red kimono, tied with an onyx sash. Similar sashes are tied around her arms and worn as a headband. She wraps her hands and feet in bandages to avoid being scuffed.
She’s a genetically engineered girl who’s been training as a pyromancer for years. She’s very upbeat and never backs down from a challenge, nothing is too tough for her to face.
She grows up being the best fighter in town, beating anyone in her path with a grin. As she ages, she notices people acting different, their smiles fading into something different, something she didn’t understand.
Her friends began to shun her, angry that she could no longer relate to them. Vida, confused, seeks the help of her creators.
She soon learns she is unable to feel negative emotions. She was “designed†to exude only her positive emotions, to prevent any slip ups, injuries or betrayal.
She’s unsure how she feels about this and continues to fight for her creators, hoping it’ll bring her happiness. She feels it on the inside, but it feels faked, hollow.
She soon becomes restless, thus she sneaks around the lab to learn more about herself. Through her snooping, she learns how she was split into two identical halves.
One half, herself, calm, collected, confident. And the other part of her is angry, chilling and temperamental.
She then finds her, the other half of herself, behind a glass casing. Covered in frost, she appeared to be sleeping.
Longing to be whole and to understand her friends, she clicks open the casing, setting the other her free.
A loud scream was heard as it echoed throughout the holding facility. As Vida reached out her hand, the other her screeched and batted her hand away.
“What’s the point….â€
Confused, Vida lit her fire and crouched defensively.
She watched in horror as the other her made a casing around herself, complete with dagger like spikes. Like a canon, it shot towards her. Vida was breathless as she noticed that her other self didn’t even have to move to harm her.
She touched the casing,
How can we be whole again?
Vida wishes to become a whole person, to accept her darkness and her happiness in order to become an adult and face the world.

| Pandemic says *he gave a light huff in reply, flicking his gaze off to the side as a small frown crossed his face* I'm sure there are more interesting things to discover. *he said simply, only returning his gaze to her with a withdrawn, hurt but certainly not beaten look. The sort of look that said it's owner was tortured but not about to ask for help. Most would leap at the chance to drill Vida with questions, but as far as he saw it, if she wanted to tell him something she would and if she wanted something else from him she would ask.
