The second summon beast that Karessia gains during her battles (during a battle where Hellhound had been hurt pretty badly against an elite-classed shapeshifter) is Sphinx, a king cheetah type sphinx. Unlike the boys, she is very calm and tends to be the one who breaks up their soon-to-be fights when they disagree with each other. She will act as the 'researcher' and 'scout' in order to find out where the next potential shifter will appear or where there are strange activities going on, as she is able to detect traces of a pattern when researching. This can sometimes lead to her being buried in research in a case if she finds it interesting enough. Protocol, a sentient program was created by her to help her with locating the invading shapeshifters when she's researching. She uses this program to hack into any program and/or gather information that would otherwise be out of their reach. Usually, Sphinx will go undercover to confirm her suspicions and draw out the shapeshifter for Karessia. (Or Karessia will go with her, if the case seems like it would be very dangerous.)
