Trevor was adopted from the Pound on 25 March 08 with the help of a sweet guy who fostered him until I had room to bring him home. Scarcely a week later, Trevor got his fondest wish granted to become an Overgrown Mandoran with an unexpected and thoughtful gift from another kind Mistican. With all of this generosity and affection showered upon him, it's our hope that Trevor will realize that he's loved. Until then, he remains stoic and apart, keeping company only with Clancy (who isn't exactly a warm and fuzzy ball of good cheer) and his unlikely new friend...Tam.

No one expected Tam to reach out to someone new, especially someone who didn't seem likely to be his "type." Lucien swears that he thinks Tam found Trevor playing air guitar to "Baba O'Riley" one day, and sensed a kindred spirit. Or maybe it was the sound of "Chelsea Dagger" blasting forth the other day when Clancy accidentally tripped over a wire and unplugged Trevor's earphones. (The Fratelli's being Tam's 2nd favorite band, after all.) To cap it off, Bava said that he spotted Trevor entering the gym via a side door after Tam had gone inside one day. While we're assuming that Trevor is providing some form of enouragement to Tam (who could certainly use it), who knows what he might *really* be doing in there? Trevor sure isn't saying. Trevor doesn't say anything to anyone but Tam.

It's not that Trevor is unkind or rude or surly. He appears perfectly content to sit in the sunlight in Ari's garden when he's not off doing whatever it is he and Tam do. He doesn't so much as blink when Elvis and Widget climb happily on his shell. Unfortunately, he doesn't smile either so we have no idea if he actually enjoys the attention or honestly doesn't notice it. At any rate, the fun is soon over as Clancy races from his hiding place under Trevor's tree to hiss and bare his thorns at the kids, sending them scampering back to the safety of their rooms.
