Treat has always gotten along great with his older brother Trick, they were best buds. They did everything together and anywhere he was you could bet that Treat was right there beside him. Well as they both got a bit older they spent less time together when Trick got a girlfriend named Prairie. Treat was pretty sad at the news because that was the girl that he was in love with. He was planning on asking her to be his when his brother beat him to it. Now he has to watch from afar as his brother adores and spoils the girl he is in love with. He is enraged and he stops seeing his brother and he starts to be mean to Prairie even though she has no clue on what is going on. Him and her used to spend days together just joking around and getting into new adventures together. He thought that she had felt the same way about him, till one day when his older brother was visiting and they all hung out together. Then Prairie gave all her attention to his brother while he just sat there like the third wheel. It wasn't fair Treat was the one who knew her first and loved her first, if it wasn't for him introducing them two they would never had even met.
One day Treat hears Trick talking to Prairie outside and he realizes that he is too late because his brother has told her that he loves her. So as soon as they are done talking Treat goes to talk to Prairie and she is so happy as can be from talking to his brother. He feels bad for even trying to break them up, but when you loves someone you do whatever it takes, right? He stares at her and his heart is beating, and the words don't come so he instead leans in and kisses her. For a split moment he was the happiest guy in the world, then his world came crashing down when Prairie pulls away and tells him she will never love him. His heart is broken and he regrets what he just did. He looks at her and grabs her hand and she hesitates but follows him. They are both crying and it's just all bad timing. He brings her this book with all their pictures in it and gives it to her. "I've always loved you Prairie." He looks at her one more time before he walks off and leaves her with the book. What do you do when the girl you love, loves someone else?
