The overseer of the land of the Dreaming, he acts as a guardian between there and the real world, protecting it. Every dream that is remembered allows the dreamer to gain inspiration, a rare gift that he, the overseer with no name, gives. Although many have attempted to name him, 'Threshold' is always tossed around, as he is the gateway into Dreaming. Thus many affectionately refer to him as Resh as a nickname.

Mainly associated with 'good dreams', many forget that nightmares balance out Dreaming, as one cannot have happiness without fear. In order to showcase that, his form resembles something out of a nightmare, eyes sewn shut in tribute that no one could ever enter the Dreaming awake.
