Tattoo, as she prefers to be called, comes from a rather sad background. Raised in a household of three, she was subjected to many things while under her 'father's roof'. Her father believed that women were only good for cooking, cleaning and raising kids. She was not allowed to go to school, or get any kinds of education beyond learning how to speak, clean and cook. However, this did not stop Tattoo from trying to learn, even if it meant getting beaten for doing so. At age 14, she was married off in exchange for a pig. Her husband was not much different from her father, having the same beliefs and view of the 'woman's role'. Learning became extremely difficult for her, but she still gave it her all. After getting brutally beaten for reading a book, she finally made the decision to run away at age 16.

The wild wasn't much kinder to her, having to fight for food though more often than not, get chased away from it. However, to help in becoming more respected by the wild life, she disguised herself, or more specifically, her 'feminine features', making herself look and sound like a man. It was a awkward adjustment, but one she easily adapted to. She lived in 'the wild' for 2 years, becoming stronger and wiser in her natural skills, soon being strong enough to even fend off the more ferocious wild life, such as bears and tigers. Though, on a fateful day, she found herself in an encounter with some rogue bandits. Although she fought extremely hard, she barely escaped with her life. Beaten and ragged, she was running low on health and not sure if she'd make it through the night. By chance, a wise martial artist had been watching her through the ordeal, even going to the extent of bringing Tattoo into her home and nursing her back to life.

Her savior was actually one of the most renowned trainers in the world, who went by the name of Oriental. Tattoo was grateful for the aid, though was surprised to find that Oriental was a woman, not a man like she imagined. With this new inspiration, her determination was revived and she asked to be able to be taught under Oriental's guide. she accepted and trained Tattoo for two years. After that, Tattoo had succeeded in becoming a great warrior, soon making a name for herself in the world, though, having been so used to being in disguise, kept her disguise even after she became more renowned.

Tattoo is easily approachable, not being overly-friendly, but not being mean or cruel either. Though, finding her is the trick, as she often prefers solitude to constant company. This is mostly because of her 'secret', but also because the hero life was not the easiest way to live, especially with more and more people wanting her dead. Though, she is very respectful, and will show respect to those who show it to her. However, if you disrespect her, she will use force to gain it and isn't afraid to put people in line. She will also go out of her way to do this, especially if she sees a woman being threatened or disrespected by a man. For this, she gets in a lot of trouble, but she believes in standing up for what you believe in, and respect is what she believes in. She intends to one day change the disrespect of women, though feels she still has much to achieve before then.
