Tamerlane's hair-trigger boredom is awe-inspiring. Nothing holds his interest for more than a week at a time. He traded his Wii for 7 Hawaiian BBQ pizzas last week. His street hockey team lacks both skill and direction. His W.o.W. guild disbanded over a controversial "Naked Troll" raid on Stormwind (which he denies to this day). TV? I took his DVR away when I discovered hours and hours of "Sabado Gigante" reruns and those old late-night Cinemax programs *cough*.

In the Battle Room, Tam doesn't choose sides, only the weakest possible opponent to ensure his own victory and another notch on the "Most Battles Won" listing. Evil...good...it's a moot point. Forced to choose, he'll fight for whomever provides the diet root beer and Cheetos. It's the most effort I can coax out of him. Tam has no noble motives or lofty goals. I used to try to train Tam evenly, but at his old level it was basically whichever potion we snagged that determined his next Stat point. Tam was ready for the new battle system, and didn't bat an eye in the Fall of 2012 when told he would have to abandon his previous stat achievements. And so we trudge on (again), Tam scowling at me and making exaggerated gagging motions with every battle I shove him into.
He'll thank me someday. (Really.)
