No one knows what the Smile Dog is. Some say he's a demon from the Netherworld. Some say he's an ordinary dog that just doesn't seem right for some reason. Some people go further and say he's neither demon nor dog, but actually the Dark Lord himself. No one would ever know for sure which theory was correct because no one has seen more than a picture of him.

This photograph, the nature of its origins just as mysterious as the subject itself, is said to be cursed. Those who have seen it report horrible nightmares, demonic possession, or sometimes even wind up dead from unusual causes. Those that survive tend to fall to sudden insanity.

The whereabouts of the photograph right now are unknown. It tends to show up from time to time, usually in the clutches of the dead, and then mysteriously disappears without a trace a day later, only to show up again at irregular intervals.
