I always cursed these eyes, they only bring nothing but pain to the world. For so long I have watched my family suffer at the hand of genetics and fate. I curse these eyes, and the man who gave them to us. If only I could get rid of them, then maybe, just maybe, there would be hope for my family's future.

For years the young medical ninja had wandered the world, healing anyone and everyone who needed it. No one was an enemy in his mind, just someone who needed help and love. He had made it his life mission to find his friend and blood pact brother that had gone missing after a great ninja war. Despite being told by his friend's comrades that he had perished Shoto had refused to believe it and set out to find him.

The last thing he had expected was to find him as the instigator behind the current war. His dearest childhood friend was now the world's enemy. With friends on both sides of the war, Shoto was stuck in the middle. Only time and the upcoming final battle will tell who he decides to save.
