A self-problaimed river guardian, Shoru is often found patrolling the river near his home and the Rordan Village. Though he much prefers remaining in the woods, Shoru is no hermit. He's no social butterfly either, but he doesn't shy away from a friendly conversation.

His buddy Zeke the caiman happily shadows the Lirionox up and down the river, keeping an eye on things in the waters or small spaces that Shoru can't fit into to investigate. Zeke especially enjoys riding on Shoru's back or head, and some passersby can't quite stop staring at them as if it's the strangest thing they'd seen all day.

Dedicated to his cause, the Lirionox also helps with those who might wish to cross the river within the woods. Sometimes a storm will surge the cool waters and make it dangerous for small critters to get to the other side. Shoru has also stopped several raiders on their way from Rordan Village with bags of plunder on their backs.
