Sei is one of the many knights of Frostbite who work for Negami. As a knight, she along with other knights are responsible for guarding an arctic kingdom known as Frostbite. She has abilities that specialized with ice, and these powers are granted to her from Queen Negami herself.
Sei is a rather lax girl when she's not working. It would be hard to tell this if one were to see her fighting, as she takes her job as a knight very seriously. She's also rather affectionate, which leads to why she became a knight in the first place. Before she became a knight of Frostbite, she lived in a regular city and had a girlfriend at the time. Her now ex girlfriend is Doodle. The reason for this breakup was because Doodle gets the both of them trapped in a flaming cabin during a camping trip, and due to Doodle's obsession with fire, she refused to leave the cabin. Sei managed to get the both of them out alive, but ended up pretty badly injured due to this incident. This likely isn't the first time Sei has had to get Doodle out of trouble when it came to fire as well. Unable to take the stress any longer, Sei regretfully decides to leave Doodle. Somehow, Sei ended up on the Big Ice, the giant glacier where Frostbite was located, and she ended up being accepted by Queen Negami as a guard.
Sei wishes to use the training she's gaining from being a Frostbite knight to eventually return back home and to Doodle, and hopefully be able to protect her friend from her own dangerous obsession. She knows that she wouldn't be allowed to keep her ice-based powers if she were to leave Frostbite, but Sei tries to convince herself that the physical and mental strength she hopes to gain from being a knight will be enough.
