Once upon a time...

RegaI was a man of prestige and nobility. He was an important part of the king's court and valued friend of the king. He had power, money, a beautiful wife and well educated children. He lived in a magnificent castle that was second only to the king's. He was a very regal man, to say the least. While RegaI appreciated the life he had very much, he was not grateful. You see, back then one was born into nobility. RegaI had never had to work hard for his nobility or wealth a day in his life, and therefore he took all he had for granted.

RegaI was not a bad guy, but he was not a very generous person. He had ample opportunities to share with the poor and help others out, but he figured that it was not his fault that they were born peasants.
