Oh Death, oh mighty Death,
Fly from above with scythe in hand, and reap from this world those who no longer belong.
For time takes from us those who we cherish most,
But to keep them would be the greatest crime of all.
And Death comes with not eye nor ear,
And the pleas of the mortal fall as silence,
For Death judges us with time, and time alone.
As time is the only true measure in this world or the next.
