Rabid has no recollection of her origins, nor does she care to know. All that she knows is that everywhere she goes, people begin to fall very, very ill.
Generated in a laboratory, Rabid was created to be the ultimate biological weapon; a living, breathing disease, immune to her own illness but capable of spreading it wherever she wishes. She was designed to be completely stoic, void of conscience and incapable of possessing emotion. This is where her creators failed.
Her design is flawed. Rabid is perfectly capable of feeling, and often does so with much greater intensity than the average being. She possesses a full spectrum of emotion, from joy to sadness to intense anger and everything in between. Her moods are sporadic and unpredictable and can sometimes render the normally placid Rabid a very dangerous entity.
A patch of ice on a dark road left the en route transit vehicle in ruins, unleashing Rabid upon the world, a small, unassuming little creature with nearly irresistibly adorable features that send her straight into the hearts of most she comes in contact with. Of course, very few who have ever spent an extended period of time with her live today.
Rabid is trying desperately to find someone who is immune to her. She is absolutely terrified of being alone and often clings to the first living organism to acknowledge her. That is, until they succumb to the ever spreading illness.
