Silver hair cut short at her jawline, brown eyes, tanned olive skin with many wrinkles, rough hands that speak of decades of working with them. Dresses in loose, soft shirts and pants in true Chinese grandma fashion. Also wears classic "lao tou" slippers.
Personality: Warm and welcoming, Li nainai greets guests in her home with a bowl of white peaches and an afghan-covered couch. She's the embodiment of warmth and good humor, but she also has a sharp eye, a sharper tongue, and an even sharper knife should the situation arise. Her instruction can be brisk, since she usually knows better and knows it, but she's patient with her students and rewards them with a home-cooked meal and hilarious stories when they're done.
To her family and neighbors, Li Sunchao is a sweet, doting grandmother whose long memory and good food attract all the kids who need an interview for school history projects. Those who know her professionally also know that her sharp memory never fails to identify the most effective way to banish a ghost from the attic, burn a spirit out of a totem, or just straight up murder a monster. While retired from active monster hunting, Granny Li is much sought after for her decades of experience, but her contacts are very exclusive and her discernment even more so. She often boasts of her judgment of up-and-coming hunters, and the years prove her right. Salt and Pepper are her current pet project, and they spend many an afternoon in her quiet house, chatting and cooking between the sigil drawing practice and the combat spell training.
