R.I.P Patrick 4/6/10

Patrick was a dachshund mix. He was the protector of not only his humans, but also his girl Nikki. He was without a doubt the leader between the two. If he barked at something, she would join. At times they fought over a bone or a toy, but later that same day they would cuddle eachother on their dogbed.
Patrick started getting sick after he had surgery on his foot to remove a bump between his digits. He just got worse and worse. It got so bad that he couldn't eat or drink. If he did, he would throw up everywhere. He was miserable. On April 6, 2010 we had to let him go. He was only 9 years old. Now he lives on Rainbow bridge where he is happy and pain free.
