Pet Profile
Mizu is a small baby Stignightus, who was born into a warm loving family with a mother and father. The father was always distant and guarding the ones he loved, the mother nursed Mizu into a healthy fawn. Mizu was very adventurous and loved to explore the forest that they lived in. She spent most of her days daydreaming of flying, the closests she came to that was just watching the other Stignightus prance around the land and leap and bound. One night as they were sleeping Mizu was awoken by her mother's voice telling her to get up and follow her, the air was thick with smoke and it filled her lungs and burned her eyes. She shut them as she followed behind her mother, then she opened them when she heard her father's voice behind her. They darted and dodged falling trees as the fire continued to engulf their forest. Dozens of animals were weaving in and out of the trees to get away from the flames. Mizu was running as fast as her tiny legs could carry her but they began to fill like jelly and she fell to the ground, her parents stopped and turned around to wait for her, a tree began to fall and they both rushed to her side. The father pushed Mizu out of the way as the tree came down crushing him instantly, Mizu squeeled as her mother nudged her up and they continued to run. After a while of running they came to a small clearing with water around they rested there. But their was rest suddenly interrupted with a low growl from a huge Hurabu in the tree to the right of them. The mother whispered in Mizu's ear and took off running, Mizu obeyed her mother's comand and ran the opposite way and hid in some bushes, while her mother distracted the creature away from her baby. Mizu waited and waited until it was dark outside, and finally fell asleep. When she woke up her mother was nowhere to be found, and Mizu didn't know if she was even alive anymore. With sadness in her heart she slowly got to her feet and decided to continue on with her journey to find a new home away from the fires and predators. Her ears perked up as she heard rustling coming from the leaves in the trees, she thought to herself that the Hurabu had followed her and she would surely die here. Her heart was racing as the noise got louder and then slowly two beady eyes peered at her from above, and ever so slowly the rest of the tiny creature appeared. Mizu snorted out a sigh of relief as she realized it was just a bat that had been making the noises. It stretched out it's wings and flapped them and it flew down to be face to face with Mizu. It landed on her antlers and with it's tiny fingers tried to pick up Mizu's shining orb from her head, "Shiny." "Ouch stop that!" Mizu shouted out sharply. The bat stopped trying to pry the orb loose and looked down at Mizu and stared at her, "Friend?" Mizu laughed as the tiny fingers began to pat her velvet muzzle tickling her.
