a dark place, the universe was. so cold and lonely for something with a conscience. such was the fate of the only thing that had some form of intelligence. the universe decided this was not very deserving of a gloomy little creature. from the raw materials of the universe, a little paintbrush was formed.
with this, the creature happily took the colors of the universe and painted to his heart's content. from planets to stars, comets and black holes occasionally from frustration. the creature came to be known as the painter of worlds.
