The Unlikely Trio (Starshifters):

A Starshifter that resides in the sky above, she calls her constellation, in the form of a leopard, home. She is known as Guardian due to her being a Guardian Type Starshifter, although her true name, rarely known to others, is Nebit. The only ones who are allowed to speak her true name are the Observer and Divine ranks, though there are very few of them still in existence, such as Parsec.
Part of the Unlikely Trio, she and other Starshifters generally keep to their selves and do not interact with the beings down on the planet they circle. However, it is possible to harness their power and summon them down, like how Amoenna's light magic during her prayer ceremony had done. She and her companions, Mesi and Nakai, who make up the bordering constellations, a snake and wolf respectively had been called down as well. They call themselves the Starshifters, as their 'earthly' forms are created from the very essence of the stars that make up their individual constellations.
Nebit is the guardian and protector of the group where ever they travel. She is the first one into battle and the last one to leave it. Nebit is very protective of her companions and would do almost anything to make sure that they are safe during their travels. Often times she and Nakai get into fights over the strangest things which leads Mesi to break up the fight. As she isn't of the Caster type like Mesi is, her powers over ice, which she had gained in her first decent from the stars, is weakened by half.
Nebit means Leopard in Egyptian.
