Welcome to Vidolfnir's Nest, a room laying between the realms of Midgard and Hel. Only those who have seen the face of Thanatos are allowed access in. You being here, my guest, means that Thanatos has agreed to let you hear the tales of Bragi's Tome. I will warn you, however, that the stories told here, they cannot be repeated outside of this realm. I think Thanatos will probably end you if you try. Do you want to know about the Nest here? It's very simple. As the only permanent resident, I have no need for sight. Although I'm blind, I can hear the resonance between objects. It becomes quite useful when I travel into Midgard. I must warn you though, if you see me or hear the sound of my violin in Migard, it would do you well to run. It isn't necessarily that bad things happen, but on full moons I travel there to feed. Being neither god nor demon I have free reign of wherever I want to go, and although I have been scolded before; I am the only one who can play Bragi's Tome. You may select a song to listen to, however, some of them will not allow your return so be wary.

Ah...you need an explanation...I suppose it should be expected. Bragi's Tome is not simply a storytelling device, it is much more than a musical instrument. It sings with no voice, but can tell stories all the same. It does not sit you down for story time, instead once a song is chosen, it puts you to sleep to experience it in your subconscious. Since it has no way of telling you itself, the Tome lets the stories themselves tell you. They aren't just rehearsed scripts or made up day to day, the stories are sentient beings that have their memory kept in tact. The stories in Bragi are not fictional, rather..they are the tellings of those who entered the Nest but were unable to leave.
