Not much is known about the group of beings known as the mist walkers. Rumors tell of elusive beings that are able to turn their bodies into mist and travel around undetected by others. That is, until the mist reforms and takes on their most used form, either a human or an animal form, which depends on the mist walker themselves. One way to tell if one is a Mist Walker is to look for small streams of mist that are said to swirl around them while in either form.
But all these are just rumors... right? Or are they true?
In truth, these elusive mist walkers were created by Ashuri and her pack by using their mist magic. Unlike the spirit wolves, who are bound to one form - their animal form, these beings are able to shift from their human and animal form at will. While they are able to take on forms of any beast, including extinct animals, most stick to raptors which range in color.
This is the case with Kasumi, she takes on the form of a rare leucistic Utahraptor. This is an extremely rare coloration that caused some of the other mist walkers to think that she's weaker then they are. They won't speak out loud about this since if Ashuri found out, they would be put in their place.
