- Necromancy / Physical Aspect
**** When it comes down to the physical aspect of Necromancy, Memphis has broken down the walls of restrictions and impossibilities. His inner link to death is strong and far reaching and he uses these abilities in the most unconventional of ways with quite the dramatic flair. He is capable of using his abilities without so much as a single movement, however, he prefers to let people know what he is doing. At times, he will use visual aids (like puppets resembling the controlled being or dolls) for a comical affect, and at the same time as a means of humiliating the controlled. When he is preforming his abilities willy nilly, it is very easy to snatch the control away from him by other necromancers. However, if he is in concentration and bent on keeping control, you are in for the battle of your life. Literally. He has shattered internal organs and ripped the souls apart from lesser necromancers who have tried. The ripping of souls is merely an affect of the power struggle, not an ability he is able to control (as spiritual control is near impossible for him to do)
He can control anything that once lived that is now dead that still has a body or most of a body. ie, Human, animal, demon, alien, insect.
If a body is completely destroyed (turned to mush, dust, ash, etc.) it is no longer usable, as the molecular structures have severely changed (yes, there seems to be some science tied in with magic xD).

*** Black arts are varied and difficult to pinpoint exactly what he can and cannot do in this aspect. Though he isn't a sorcerer, so he IS limited, though he does very well when it comes to abilities in need of body parts, blood and violence.

** control dead from a distance with the aid of a photograph to make the connection (must be near full view)
** connect an animated dead to another using black arts.
(example, with blood and an artifact of his own (a ring), was able to connect the animated corpse of a yellow bird to the ring and give it to another to use. In this, he has transferred a part of his power (a piece of himself) into an inanimate object.
Personality:
Memphis has a varied and fluid personality to where you think you may have him figured out, then he goes and does the freaking opposite. He's a contradictory of emotions and actions, never settling on one specific way.
He is confident and expresses this confidence very openly and loudly for everyone to know, even despite his shortcomings. Because he is aware of those, he is able excel in what he can do and shrugs off his incapabilities as things that aren't worth his time.
He has never really regarded people anything other than fodder for necromancy and shows very little emotion and concern to the well being of others. Even in his own family life the death of someone close is laughable at best, so you can imagine how he treats others. The act of murder holds no emotional consequences for him, and he can kill without remorse... not even a blink of an eye.
He has a twisted moral code due to the fact that he doesn't know any better. He wasn't raised in a normal family.
He is also quite inquisitive and curious, rarely letting a subject go completely. When it may seem like he's given up, he is merely biding his time before he brings it up again. So "None of your business", is never going to be a good enough answer. Its only a matter of time....
He isn't afraid of death. In fact, a lot of things he does can be borderline suicidal. The thought of death for himself is funny, and you can find himself laughing about it. If ever he was dying.. he'd probably be giggling. And the last words on his lips would be "this is not the last of me...."

Honestly, he doesn't even have the excuse of being insane for how he acts... he just... is like that.

Memphis along with his twin brother was born in the country of Latvia, Europe. The blood and necromantic family line extends far back many generations and have an immeasurable collective wealth.
The main family house (a castle/fortress) is located in the center of 30 miles worth of property from all sides (don't even ask me how many acreage that is). They obviously covet privacy, and people have been known to disappear who have trespassed on the property.
The road to the castle is narrow and winding, and when it comes to the mountain trail, it is downright dangerous. The family has never owned an automobile (Memphis is the first to ever purchase and drive one while he made residence in LA), and all transportation to and from the castle is done by horses.
As head of the family, the property, the castle and the fortune all belongs to Memphis. In calculative terms, he would be a multi millionaire.. or even a billionaire? Its actually unsure how wealthy the family is... but they have always been quite miserly so there is a lot... Maybe if all family (or certain family) died he could claim the fortune as his permanently..... hmmmm
