Avela says ( Please keep up the long posts...I'll do my best to match it!)
Avela looked over at him. I wasn't really offended. I suppose I am not used to my help not being needed. However..." She paused for a moment to check the night sky. The gleam of the stars was lovely, but this wasn't the time for star gazing. She looked back at the gargoyle. "..ummm...thanks for the apology." Her voice lowered for a moment as her ears went back. She had to admit to herself that she was briefly offended. Slowly she shook it off and turned her attention back to him, ear tuffs raising once more. She smiled at him. "Well I promise not to get in the way and I'll do my best to help where ever I can." She nodded, stealing a glance at the city then looking back up at him. Yes I suppose it's been a long night, do you thing it will be morning soon?

Avela says (wow long post...lol)
Avela shifted till she was sure that she wasn't going to fall and be able to sit comfortably. Claws dug a little into the stone as she steadied herself, settling her reddish brown wings against her back. Turned her head slightly, she gazed at Maestro, dark brown eyes catching every movement and she inwardly sighed. "That would be a no then.. A very soft chuckle emitted from her beak, that flashed in the moonlight. Tis a shame, then..I had wondered if he could be saved... Her voice trailed off as the wheels in her mind began to spin. She ran over everything she had be taught from her training and her teacher, till his voice drew her attention back to him. Ear tiffs perked and thrust toward him, a slow raise of one of her eyebrows show some of her interest in what he was saying. What was he hiding from? Why did he seem intent on working alone? I'll gladly answer any ques.... She stopped suddenly, almost glared at him for a moment, then quickly changed her expression to almost nothing. Her ears went flat and she looked away from him as if something else got her attention for a moment. Softly she spoke to the last question. I never said that he couldn't, I was just offering to help.....if you ... She paused to look back at him. ...that is if you want it. She drew on her inward strength and sat straight up without looking to prideful.

Avela says Avela closed her eyes as the wind washed over her, like a warm breath of fresh air. When she opened her eyes she noted the way the moon light glistened off the griffin's silvery wings. It was almost magical, reminding her of her teacher. Her ear turfs were flat but slightly turned toward him, listening to his voice. A thief was a thief to her but she only nodded and glided close to him. She tilted her wings up following him, but landing on a nearby roof, close enough to still hear. For a time Avela said nothing, but dealing with magic was apart of her, even if it had to do with healing the earth. She knew enough to protect herself anyway. Maestro, do you think it is more then just a short leash? She asked tilting her head a bit. I mean what if he is possessed? Her talons dug into the roof top briefly as she balanced herself, her wings fanned out slightly before settling back down.
