The younger brother of Kiriko, Tomori Shinnosuke/Kamen Rider Drive's partner, Shijima Gou revealed himself to be Kamen Rider Mach when he returned to Japan from America. Not wanting to reveal the truth of their dad to Kiriko, he is working hard to defeat the Roidmudes before she discovers what happened. Since the Roidmude's Grim Reaper, Chase/Proto Drive, returned to their side, he can't stand to be around Chase, as he still views him as a Roidmude, who he has to destroy thanks to his father being the creator of the said robots.

Chaser says It was silent, Chase's head turned towards the closed door. He was unsure if Banno did intend to kill him, although it was always difficult to tell with the scientist. When Banno had not been satisfied with him as a prototype, he once suggested to scrap him and use him to help build the rest of the new Roidmudes he had been working on. Krim had taken him away as his own assistant, to the anger of Banno. "You did not have to stay." Although he should have shut down by then - sparks still formed around his number plate every now and then - he wanted to know why Gou had given in to his sister so easily. It had been obvious he wanted to leave, regardless of his previous strange reactions.
