Lucien (being, after all, a Librarian) was the bookworm of the family until Ari came along. He finds it disgraceful that his brother Tam gets credit for all those books he's skimmed over, and hopes to read more than Tam some day (just to knock him down a peg or two). It's taking him longer, as he actually *reads* them as opposed to Tam's liberal usage of Cliff Notes. Not to mention the fact that Lucien loves reading, while Tam's motivation is the tickets to the "Alvin & the Chipmunks" movie that I promised him.

Lucien's passion for knowledge is second only to his love for edible delicacies. Baked goods, candies, frozen treats...Lucien acquires them all. He has a special cooler set up for the various culinary rarities he's found in Mistica so far, and does his best to keep it stocked for company (and his own midnight snacks). His original personal goal was to sample at least 35 of the known Exotic Foods native to Mistica. I'm so proud, he's done that (and lots more) now. He might have to start watching his weight soon. :)
