Created from the fragments of lost possibilities a being was born beyond the boundaries of reality. He lives in his own space between the worlds, observing the branching paths of existence. Fate and destiny are only a myth to him, for he has seen paths of success and paths of despair. The future is uncertain and shaped only through one's actions and decisions, not through any cosmic guidelines. So from his pocket in space he observes all the unfolding pathways, all but the true future that lies ahead, for he can only see the futures that have been lost, either completely or the one specific way they could have unfold. And as he is observing so do all the memories of lost fates stay with him, they shape the mosaic of his wings that in their true form stretch as colorful ribbons endlessly long. Yet most of the time they remain in the shape of the butterfly effect he embodies, always shifting colors as the fragments change and new ones are added. It might seem like a lonely existence, yet he is content with merely observing the lives of others unfolding, or how they could be unfolding. And maybe someone, somewhere, somehow will find a way to stumble into his domain and make things even more interesting.
