Story:

Old grumpy veteran with a big heart for children (something he never would admit so).




Laertes is captain of the citiy guard of Havens Port. Grumpy as he is, he seems to be a fair man and is respected by the other guards.




His wife and his two children were killed by bandits when Laertes still was young. So only the dead body of his wife was found near a river. The bodys of his children, so it is said must have drifted down the river. No one ever found them. Cause of this he avoids close bonds to other people, too affraid he will lose them again. Laertes still keeps some old toys of his children hidden in a chest at his small house.




Laertes loves strawberries.

Laertes is not very tall but for his age in very good shape but still has a haggard look.


He has black short cropped hair which starts to become grey. He has grey eyes and often looks a bit grumpy or very grave. He is a mix of athletic and wiry.


Laertes doesn't shave very often so he most the time wears a dark stubble, also starting to grey like his hair.

Kind of clothing:


Laertes wears embossed leather boots, dark leather pants and and metal embossed leather armor.


The armor looks worn but still in good shape cause Laertes takes good care for it. he often alo wears a dark cloak against the cold.

Personality:


Laertes seems to be grumpy and grave. He doesn't smile very often and when he does it is mostly only small and barely regognizable.




Nontheless he seems to have a big heart for children and cares for the poor ones that have to live on the streets. He often gives them food, sometimes a bit of copper.
